Previously: State of California : California Department of Social Services(CDSS): Social Security Administration (SSA) Disability Adjudicator. The Employment Development Department (EDD): Employment Program Representative Job Developer, Unemployment Insurance, and Appeal Representative, Case Manager (Bell Gardens), and Rehabilitation Counselor.(The ARC). U.S. Customs. U.S. Military Veteran with Distinctions. CSEA Job Steward . CSEA Local 1000 Bargaining unit Representative L.A County Probation Officer Intern of Two years. CSEA Retiree. PTA’S Presidents, School Site Council, Cub Scout Den Leader. President of CSULB Circle K (co-sponsored by local Kiwanis ). CSULB Hispanic Student Business Association. 2009-2011 President of the Downey Coordinating Council, Charter Downey Lions Club. Downey Sister Cities. Former member of the Downey Rose Float Association, & Downey Chamber of Commerce. 2012-2013 Downey American Legion Member, etc
Education: Bachelor of Arts of CSULB: with graduate studies. 1978 Banning High School Graduate
Personal: Married to Valerie, who has been an Elementary School Teacher in the public school system for 21 years. Downey home owner for over 17 years. We have three grown sons who attended local schools, and three precious granddaughters.
